	KVLT undertook its first land acquisition project with the purchase of a 1.1-acre parcel on the Catawba River across from Landsford Canal State Park. Activities of Katawba Valley Land Trust have resulted in the preservation by acquisition or easement of a total of approximately 2,268 acres of land in four South Carolina counties.
