2022 Annual Bird Counts & Nature Walks

  • by KVLT
  • in Outings & Events

We are excited to continue the KVLT Annual Bird Count on Saturday April 23, 2022 in celebration with Earth Day. We will again be at Rocky Creek in Great Falls and Landsford Canal State Park. More information will be coming soon.

Join local birding experts and expect to see and/or hear more than 50 species of birds that are in our area this time of year. This is an excellent opportunity for novice birders, scout troops, and others to learn more about our feathered friends. The event will last 2-3 hours, and binoculars and comfortable shoes are recommended. Each walk is considered easy/moderate and moves at a slow pace, stopping often. Please remember to bring water and a light snack should you desire.
